Our trainers are truly talented in what they do, have a passion for lashes, work hard to give you what you need and most importantly have a laugh along the way. They’ve been in your shoes so they know what you’re up against but they’ll always take on board your feedback to make sure we’re delivering what you need. Hopefully you’ll meet them in person very soon but in the meantime…say hi to our UK team. 

Lucy

Lucy has been in the industry for over 25 years so she knows her stuff. She started out working for various premium skincare & cosmetics brands until she made the leap and open her first salon in 2003.  She started with a small treatment room but within a few years, she'd taken over the whole floor and then opened a second salon. Whilst running her salons, she also did training courses across the UK until she made the next move and set up her own successful training academy and aesthetics clinic which she still runs today alongside heading up the ilashHero training academy in Birmingham.  

Stephen

Stephen is our resident Scottish trainer based in Dundee, Scotland. He has been in the beauty industry for over 14 years after discovering his passion for all things lashes. He has trained thousands of students in lash treatments, who are now carrying out the skills they have learned all over the world – some as far as Hong Kong and Australia. He’s thrilled to be part of the ilashHero community and to help train the future generation of lash artists. Now here’s something you weren’t expecting - Stephen is actually a real-life Lord – his full title is Lord Stephen Hewitt of Hougun Manor!

Layla

Layla made her move into the beauty industry 7 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. She wanted a complete change of career, one that would fit around family life and give her the chance to put her artistic flair to use. She decided to train in lashes and brows – the best decision she has ever made. She now owns a busy salon and loves giving her clients only the best. As well as running her salon, she’s also been a trainer for the past three years. To her, that’s not just a job, it’s a privilege having the opportunity to inspire and support the next generation of lash & brow artists. Cue you.

Rosa

Rosa has been a beauty therapist for 11 years, specialising in lashes and brows for the last 9 years and are we glad she did, as she gets amazing results every time!  Alongside her BTEC diploma, she also studied at The London College of Fashion for a degree in spa management and has since worked in prestigious spas across London and the South East. She then became a lash educator as well as running her own beauty room. Claim to fame - she appeared on a game show with Jimmy Carr and Katherine Ryan! Together with running her own successful business, she now heads up our London training academy.
